Herter's bullet co ? are they still around did some one take them over I was looking to find some wasp weist bullets in .270 a gunsmith gave me one once said they were very acurate i still have my sample but wood like to get some if possable ........why cuz they is odd any help would be great i belive he bought them out west that is where he haild from once

Herter's as a large company failed as a result of the US Gun Control Act of 1968. There bullets haven't been available for years.
The wasp waists were a gimmick I fell for, I believe I still have a part box in 30cal. I could never get them to shoot as well as their regular bullets.
NEI advertised cast bullet moulds in this design.
