In the market for a good waterfowling coat, needs to be 100% WATERPROOF and warm. I'm a guide and need to stay out there a long time (at least longer than my clients ha) looking at a $300 bugdet and open to suggestions. As of right now the only decent one i can find is a Cabelas Brush Buster with Goer-Tex, are these any good?

I've been through 2 sets of browning hells canyon suits in last couple years. Stays waterproof until you move too much in it, sticks tear the pants. Neoprene cuffs frizz up. Great fit and features, but not the quality of the past. Not for Sitka gear money anyway.

My top recommendation is Columbia waterfowl 3/4-1 coats. If you can find one of the older ones, they have a rectangular cloth weave that swells up when it gets wet and increases the waterproof. Warmest gear I've ever used. Even warmer than a $300 skidoo suit.
 
Columbia is good, the Cabelas brand with goretex is great, I've had great luck with Drake waterfowl products (may be an exception depends who you ask). If Cabelas still offers it the Herters brand waterfowl coats are very hard to beat. Mine is past a decade of wear and tear for ducks and deer and is still waterproof.
 
I'm really going to fly in the face of everyones suggestions here. All good choices, and you can't go wrong with any of them. I have something a little different, and its a lot cheaper.

Find yourself a British Gore-Tex jacket in Desert DPM. Layer up with a pategonia, Columbia, or Simms undergarment and polarfleece sweater.

You can shed or add layers as the season progresses; you will be 100% waterproof and breathable.

Works for me; duks and geese donknow the difference.

True, but we are hiding from ducks, not hunters.

Agreed, if you are guiding professionally, you should look the part.

For me, the shades are correct, and I'm usually behind or in grass, or in a layout blind.

Again; just my opinion. Works well for me, and very comfortable. I use my Pategonia base layer system and a fleece jacket, and I can stay warm, dry, and hidden in any environment I have hunted waterfowl in.

Thanks for all the replies guys I ended up ordering a red head canvasback coat from bass pro, not exactly what I wanted but better than nothing for this season!
 
Columbia wigeon coat shell with MEC base layers and Redhead 1200 Waders. If mercury really begins to drop,ill add a down vest to maintain shoulder mobility.

For field hunts I use the matching Columbia bibs, Extremely water proof and hot!
