It was mentioned to me that one cannot waterfowl hunt during the two controlled deer hunt dates in Ontario Southern District
I cannot see anything mentioned in the Ontario migratory bird regulations unless I missed it or the person that mentioned it is incorrect
Any input appreciated

You definitely can hunt waterfowl during the control hunt..... Nothing illegal about it at all.....just be mindful of the deer hunters location in your immediate area. Definitely don't want to setup (in all camo) next to a group of deer hunters pushing bush....

I used to get my best late season big marsh shooting during deer season. Nobody else would be in the marshes which was awesome for giving birds a chance to work the decoys and since every nearby piece of land around was being pushed the birds were being pushed too. I had some great late morning action during deer season.

There was a massive Canada goose flock that flew over our yesterday morning. Every one of us shot our limit in about 10 mins. Prior to going in to the area we saw a few guys in deer blinds at the edge of the field. I went over and let them know where we would be set up, and discussed arcs of fire. Going in and coming out we wore orange hats.
