well no pics here but 7 of us went out near wataskiwin thismorning and got 16 geese I believe we got 7 speckle belies( cacklers ) and 9 big Canadians. Lots flying and they were coming in real close to the ground and from behind

Being a West coast guy we see alot sub species, and speckle-bellies and (cacklers) are two different birds. Either specklebelly or whitefronts, and then either lessers, or richardons(cackling geese) in ontario. Unless you mean lesser whitefronts maybe. Sounds like a great hunt though, way to get under em.

Just north of Wainwright today got us 4 ducks and no geese. Alot flying just not our way. Out onto the water and then south of us. Guess they don't like peas anymore.

Well by the time I got home this morning and spent some time with my little guy who was running a fever, it was already late and too warm...

I guess this morning will have to do...
