The thread on hunting unoccupied duck blinds on public lands/waterways got me to thinking so I thought I would post a poll to see "HOW?" those of us out there that do hunt waterfowl go about it?
I tried to cover as many options as the poll would allow for. Sorry if your choice is not there but don't be shy, speak up and let us know your preferred type of waterfowling.
And please let's not turn this into a version of "my choices are more ethical than your choices" battle?
I am just interested in seeing how most of us prefer to chase feathered prey.

When I am on the river or on the lakes I hunt, I use a canoe and hunt out of it using natural camouflage , or from a convenient blind on shore.
When in fields I use layout blinds mostly, but Ii like jump shooting as well.
Preety much if I'm hunting ducks and geese I'm a happy camper!

I hunt with my 2 Tollers. Land is a mix of private and public, but I always have the area to my self. Closest group this year was in a field across the lake. I tend to use natural cover, as the cattails and bush give me great cover. I also do put up a blind near some dead trees if hunting one part of the lake where the cover is a bit thin.
