Hey,

No one has said anything about... it was a lot of fun, the weather was just perfect!!

On a personal note, it's been a long time since I zero'ed a medium stage :eek: , hehe, but such is life.. At least that gave me licence to go nutz on the rest of the match, haha!

let's see what the scores will show :dancingbanana:

Yes it was a great match.

The folks a Waterloo are nice enough to design a stage with lots of options and leave it up to you to screw it up :popCorn:

I was just happy to be shooting outside in the slightly cold but fresh air! :rockOn:
 
Yes it was a fun day. I had a little brain burp on the chair stage where two targets deliberately leaped out of the way of my bullets. No one else saw it but me though, so no re-shoot. Oh well.

Yes I thought I saw that happen to Dogman, and he was lucky because they forgot to write down his time. it a good thing too because I think almost half the targets moved while he was shooting :evil: in fact I think they were a little tired after moving for our squad. I think only a couple had the energy to move by the time you shot....:rolleyes:

well, I know where the misses came from... (I spent the last 2 evenings at Sharon, practicing, trying to figure out what's going on). I was holding onto the gun so hard, I was actually pushing it down with each shot, so at distance, I was shooting low... Very repeatable... I changed my grip strength a bit, and imagine that - the bullets started to hit where I was aiming, haha! Ohh, well, lesson learned!

It's amazing what tension can do. It creeps in unnoticed and wreaks havoc with all sorts of things. Once I was having the hardest time trying to figure out why my mags weren't dropping. It was killing me in matches and I just couldn't figure out where they were binding, until I relaxed my grip and out they came. Somewhat embarrassing to say the least.

But it would be more embarassing if that grip strength resulted in some form of personal injury... :dancingbanana: :rolleyes:
 
well, the results are there, but it doesn't look it will be a classifier for Production (winner didn't get enough stage points overall). ohh, well... We'll need to try harder next time!

I see posts of you throwing the match after zeroing a stage, and of 'lets just use this match to try new things'. I also see you complaining about the new classification system.

What I don't see is you being able to say.
'Even with my best efforts, this still was not a classifier.'

Now I don't wonder why people seem disinterested when you ##### and complain about it.

I know!!!! I mean, after losing 70 stage points on a zero'd stage, I only managed to come in second by 20 stage points!! Clearly I didn't really give it my best... I know, I apologize - but it was only 5 stages, so 70 points was a hard deficit to come back from... But listen, I'm always ready to learn from the best, so next time you see me on the range, feel free to come up and offer me tips and advice - I'm always open to learning from those who are better than I am!

You know, you should forward those posts to Vince Pinto, maybe he'll include me on that list, along with Musky!! Then we'd have two Canadians there! :dancingbanana:

(ohh, and please quote me a post where I ever said anything about 'throwing a match'. As far as trying new things, ohhh, my God, alert the Production Division rules committee!! A shooter wants to try new things in a match!! s**t!! There goes the division...).
