Good day to everyone,
My name is Nick and I am an American military member who has volunteered to move to Canada for 2 years on exchange. I love the experience so much that I have requested to stay a little longer.
I joined this forum because being the "typical" American I enjoy guns... but I take it one step farther because of my military career and training. If you have ever heard of John Shaw, I have had the pleasure of attending his tactical shooting school (MISS) and have learned a lot from the best. I have one tour in Iraq for 6 months working alongside Special Warfare and Operation's professionals. But it is time I have moved on from hunting terrorists and move on to hunting something that would look good on the grill.
Currently I have a small arsenal (unfortunately not here in Canada) that consists of 2x1911's (Springfield MIL-SPEC and Sig Saur), a Walther P99, Sig 226 and 228 (Concealed Carry), a Bushmaster ACR, and an AR-15 I built with (JD Tech lower, Daniel Defense Upper). I am thinking of purchasing a 30-06 for my hunting rifle but open to recommendations.
