BTW, I was at the Lanark, ON show yesterday and was amazed at how few of the strangers that I met were CGNers. Probably because many have no skills with a computer. Too bad. We who have even modest skills like me, should try and seek out and help those who are shy.

No, I really believe that a lot of guys just have not had the time or inclination to touch a computer and are ashamed to admit it.

Well of course your right, I've wondered about that. And the name of the site is provocatuer for sure. The T shirts sure do get people thinking. As you are well aware, This is the best firearm site in the world bar none. And maybe we have to be a little in your face until everyone gets it?

What's special is that because of, or inspite of the name we have a community of the most eloquent, sophisticated and well educated people on the internet. I sincerely believe that.

I agree with Warrenb this is a fantastic site and nearly 60,000 members prooves its growing. I remember it wasn`t long ago we were at 25,000. Thank you to the folks that created a Canadian site for all firearms enthusiasts.

CGN came up at my club last week and only 2 of us out of about 20 knew about CGN. Now, about 20 more folks know and are interested.- Especially IN EE

Yep - Lots of FUDDs out there. I still get wild looks when I show up at the range with my HK or the Tavor. But all is forgotten when I pull the Sako TRG-S out and set it up...

Lol, I'll admit that when I first saw it I was hesitant to join.. I owned an AR at the time but was 'in the closet'.... Now I couldn't imagine life without CGN! lol I use it to educate ppl. (and buy stuff)

My hubby falls in that category. I helped him create an account here and he lurked for a while, but he's too uncomfortable with computers and typing.

Every club has a bulletin board for posting notices. CGN should do a compelling notice in PDF format (8.5"x11") that can be printed out in color and posted on the cork-board enticing people to log-in online!
