I have been very fortunate to have shot rimfire and centerfire score matches at LWGC in Kenora.
It is like the little train that went along the tracks saying "I think I can, I think I can"
It is a small club. Membership is kept small, but enough to keep it aloft. Every year since I have attended there have been improvements made. This is even to the STRICT standards that are asked of them every time an inspection occurs. I feel this is what makes the place so special. The small membership. It is like a family. They work in conjunction with the surrounding community promoting/eduacting, showing the local community the good side of shooting sports.
I can go on and on, the bottom line, we need to see more of this. Our kids, outdoors, attempting to be fit, using firearms safely for there pleasure, testing themselves to get better every time out. Not sitting on the couch playing first person shooter games, turning into sewer rats.......
Get them out there.....
