We are looking about bringing these stoves into Canada. I have played around with these on our last fly in trip and they work great! What I liked best is that they are compact and very easy to light. Retail is aprox $30, so if you are a casual camper or you would just like to have something for emergencies these are a much more economical option to propane stoves. Your thoughts?

At that price point I would give it a try , handy as a backup. Approximately how much they weight? And could you use other wood sources in this container ?

These are sold as using fuel pucks of pressed wood shavings. You can run them in anything that will burn, like biomass, though your cooking time will be less.

I know these seem affordable, but I think you can do better.

I really like the alcohol stoves like those from Trangia or the Pathfinder shop. You can get a better tool for less money I think.

The Pathfinder Shop sells kits that let you run an alchohol burner OR biomass for not much more money. They are sold as more of a bushcraft thing, but I've cooked proper meals on them.

If you put the cover back on when she a burning will the can implode ? Will it relight afterwards ? Tryed something similar ( 1 gal paint can and a wetted TP roll with rudding alcohol after a couple times the lid didn't seal ) them bagels look kinda like stove pellets, (sawdust and Paraffin wax ) burn time ?
