Weather by Orion vs Orion I

Looking at these it seems the Orion is a steel receiver. My question is does the Orion I have a steel receiver as well or is it alloy ?

Hard to tell with black receivers. What should I be looking for in the picture ? Also, I can't seem to find the info online either.

I would start by seeing if you can date the year of manufacture by the serial # to determine who made the gun for them.

The earliest Orions were made by SKB, so definitely a steel receiver. Then Orions were Italian-made I believe (Sabatti???), cant comment on those. The newest Orion 1 is Turkish made, and has a steel receiver.
