It's a terrible blizzard here so I'd suggest not coming out. The roads are hardly plowed and the driving is terrible.

I can see my breath here in the lower mainland! What's next, snow?? Ice??? I'm not ready for this, I can't deal!!! Where do you get those ice scraper thingies and the salt (or is it pepper?) that goes on the ground? It's not the stuff you put on food, I think it's more dirty or something. Maybe it was pepper, like it heats up the ground so the frost melts?

Nevermind, I'll just call in sick like everyone else. Stay inside until the weather man is willing to be more reasonable and make it warmer again.

Grey County, Ontario here.

We got hammered really good with over 3.5 feet of snow (accumulated).

Snow squalls caused drifts up to 5 feet high.

Roads, if one can get out, are terrible. Hwy 6/10 from Owen Sound to Chatsworth (about 12 km) are virtual washboards. I swear that the snowplows are using blades with serrated edges!

Lots of food, lots of beer...fire log is on the TV...we'll live it out as long as our horribly expensive Hydro One doesn't crap out again.

-30 and windy is perfect weather for filling late season cow elk tags in Alberta!!! The cold dense air makes long range target wind doping fun too!!! Had a heck of a time hitting steel at 1000 the other day.

it's -30 here and then some wind as well (Sask). Just got back in the cabin, after trying to find a cow elk that is not quite as smart as me, but no luck. Sat in a bush for almost two hours as motionless as possible, but I just got too cold. You can walk for miles in this weather, if dressed appropriately, but as soon as you stop and try stay hidden and quiet, the cold eventually wins.
