Anyone have any first hand experience with this new shotgun? It is their inertia operated semi, apparently similar in design to the Benelli system- I have an SBE II and love it. I am more interested in this one for a 28 gauge with 26" barrels for a light handling semi for grouse and woodcock to compliment my Savage Milano 28 gauge. But would also like to hear about anyone's experience with any of the gauges, they sure look nice, just nice to hear what folks are saying about them.

A friend and I both got Weatherby Elements last April. I picked up a 20 ga wood model which i have really only fired a few boxes of shells through at the trap range. Fit and finish is top notch in these guns, and they come with a spacer to add some length to the stock if needed as well as a few to adjust cast and angle of height. It is a very light weight well balanced gun which fits me perfectly, I am very satisfied with it.

My friend got a 12 ga waterfowler model and he spends all his free time in a duck blind. So it sees the elements and gets beat up like a duck gun does. He fired several hundred rounds last season without cleaning it nor did he remove the packing grease when he got it. So far it has gone bang every time and he shoots it really well too. I should add the seasons before he was using a Beretta extrema 2 and is much happier now.

I dont think you will be let down by an Element.
