Weatherby Mark V Accumark .338 Lapua

never seen one in 338 lapua but actually just ordered 340 weatherby in accumark. will be the bush rifle for next year
 
I've had a 300 wby accumark and all I can say is wow :) Very accurate not your typical Bush rifle but a great long range rig!!!! I would love to get a 338 lap in the accumark I see they had them at albertas shooters choice not to long ago.
 
I wonder if the 338LM Improved version would feed out of the Weatherby mag box?

The Weatherby Accumark Mark V 338 LM already has a 1 in 9.3 twist barrel. Get it chambered to an Improved version at a reasonable cost and that would be quite the hunting rig.

Or just get a .338-378 WBY MAG.
 
I have never seen a Weatherby not feed. The single stack will put any shape of brass right up the middle. I have used it in 338-378,378,460 and 510 Wells. Never an issue

i have one in 340 and they shoot great. with reloads i am grouping around 1/2 - 3/4" @ 100 yards.
Almost have no difference with 338 LM and will perform about the same.

They bith cost a small fortune to shoot, so im sure it wouldnt matter that much. But yes i agree id probably just go 338-378 as well
