Why are these Mark V’s so expensive in the first place?

I'm hoping a true Weatherby aficionado will chime in here.
From what I have discovered the Mark V has the 9 lug bolt built to handle the Weatherby calibres. It also has the glass bedded stock from the factory. As well the factory sub moa guarantee and range certification are impressive.
There are numerous forums that talk about the Mark V. Check them out.

The range certificate can be something special, had a terramark RC that shot .32moa posting the range certified accuracy numbers/document would be helpful

I know I'm comparing Chevys to Cadillacs here but, my Vanguard is hands down the best rifle I've ever owned or hunted with. It is just so precise and balanced while shouldered. One day I'd love to be able to afford a Mark V.
