Im Wondering what experiences with the Weatherby PA-08 3'' 12-Gauge Synthetic Pump Shotgun people have had.

I had the opportunity to inspect and pattern one (wood/blued specimen) a couple years ago when a friend bought that for Turkey. At it's price point, it is a well made shotgun similar to the Rem 870 design.

Nevertheless, I would suggest that you consider the Benelli Nova or Super Nova if it is a synthetic stocked pump shotgun that you may be looking for (provided the gun fits you). Quality product and very easy/simple to field strip for maintenance.

Yes, chrome lined barrels are superior in many ways - example: ease of maintenance, anti-corrosion perspective.
