Hi everyone, new to the forum. I was hoping someone could help me with a new shotgun I just purchased. I have put around 200 rounds from target load to slugs and buckshot through the thing anywhere from 2 3/4 to 3". Recently I have been having a feeding issue where the carrier doesn't lift the shell high enough and catches the bottom edge of the chamber. This is quite annoying. I have tried quality ammo and have cleaned and properly lubricated the gun as well. Searching forums and you tube I have found the same problem on my excact same gun along with many other brands and models BUT NO SOLUTION!! Some say the carrier dog spring or bending up the lips of the carrier itself but I have yet to see anyone say either of these methods have fixed their problem. I have contacted Weatherby but have yet to get a response back. Regardless of weatherbys response I would rather find a solid solution and resolve this myself. Also I am not sure if any parts from other brands are interchangeable with the Weatherby seeing how I can't find parts for I anywhere in Canada. Any help on the topic would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Happy new year.
