I bought a Weatherby PA-08 Upland 12ga 28" last week. The first shot out of it killed a duck. I used it for duck hunting last weekend and it works flawlessly and killed a few ducks.

For me, I wanted a bright wood finish and this delivered. I shouldered the 870 and 870 express, the Mossberg 500, the Benelli Nova, and the Weatherby. The fit and finish of the Weatherby is much better than the other sub $500 shotguns, and it feels like a quality piece.

I don't understand why these have not become more popular.

I've got the Weatherby 20 gauge semi, and it's been flawless...I think they're a very underrated shotgun...Weatherby and the Turks have combined to make some nice budget firearms.

It seems as if the Turks know how to build a quality shotgun on a budget. The last few Turkish shotty's I've seen have made their American budget counterparts look horribly bad.

I love the wood on those shotguns. The days of nice walnut and bluing seem like a thing of the past. I still love the look of a wingmaster.

Have not heard any thing negative from those that own one . I know for sure one in 28ga semi is next on my have to have list as soon as I can find some extra cash
Cheers

I bought the wife one in 20ga...I am very impressed with the fit and finish of it for a $399.00 shotgun...and comes with 3 chokes...will have to see how it stands up...that will be a later call but it is much better looking then the 870 express (and yes I like the 870 so not bashing it).
