A heads up that Weatherby just announced a price increase coming Dec 14. This will include all orders, even orders placed weeks or months ago.

Ammo +15%
Vanguards +7%
Shotguns +10%
MarkV's 7-10%

Well then. I say let good old fashioned supply and demand take over. Sell out your old stock and send them a notification that you will not be ordering any new stock. I’m pretty sure your customers didn’t get a 15% raise this year. ��

My hourly wage is up 25%, It pays to job shop when you have skills in demand. Truth is Weatherby's labour burden will increase this year, the cost of steel has increased, the cost of tooling goes up, cost of transport on raw and finished goods is just silly now. This will be commonplace for the next 2-3 years is my prediction. Don't get left behind.

Jib shopping doesn’t work for everyone. One of my good friends jumper twice for hourly increases and now can’t get work because he’s been branded “unsteady”.

As someone who has worked in HR for a number of years ^^^ this is a red flag - mind you I would research the companies he worked for to see if they are still in business then do a quick search on workopolis (employer account) to see how many people from that company has an active resume. I wouldn't recommend hiring someone who has moved around (three jobs in two years)
