Weatherby Question

I know there are a couple of Weatherby guys on here. I've owned a few WBYs so I have an idea of how they come from the factory, I just got an early to mid seventies 460. Its in mint shape and has Weatherby Custom engraved on the floorplate. The only differences I can see are that the bolt and follower are jewelled and the bolt handle is checkered. I'm just wondering if all 460s come like this or is it something extra. I got a box each of factory softs and solids so some penetration tests could be in order.

I just got it, haven'y had a chance to shoot it yet. As always I'll PM when or if the time to sell comes along. The seller has 2 boxes of 378 factory ammo if anyone is interested.

Yeah, but it did not have a brake on it. I am sure the .460 does.

The gun has the Pendleton brake. Ya I said I couldn't take advantage of the 378s rangeing capability because of the severe recoil. I didn't say I couldn't handle the recoil. The 460 will be a strickly off hand Moose masher. My serious hunting guns are CRF Mod. 70s, this ones cool and real shiny.
