I have been looking at autoloaders (camo) for waterfowling around the $1000 mark. I have shoulder a few (Franchi L-12, Stoeger 2000, Browning Gold Remington 11-87 and the one that I like which seems to fit best is the Weatherby SAS. It is a gas operated auto.
Has anyone pulled a trigger on this one?
What is the +/- of gas vs spring ie inertia auto's
