I posted this ? last fall, had lots of input, thanks. Went with the weatherby 30-06, very happy. However the W has a cheap plastic stock, and as comfortable as it is, it incorporates a barrel pressure point, has to go! So next is a Boyds laminate, just need to decide thumbhole or classic, any opinions?
 
Wholesale sports is supposed to have B&C stocks for Howa ,I would check that out
or stiffen the forend on your stock and free float it.
The Boyds laminate would be my next choice.
