I am wondering ....

lets imagine I bought 2 Weatherby Vanguard 2s (same caliber, same barrel) and I would want to swap the stocks ....

is that easily doable? Or is there some sort of fitting or bedding involved .... ??

To disassemble a Weatherby Vanguard seems to be easy .... just two screws ....

I wish they would make a model in stainless with a wooden stock .....
I have to admit I have weakness for wooden stocks ... but I want stainless metal ... :-(

I swapped out the stock on my Weatherby Vanguard 2 Blaze for one of the Gripetonite stocks no problem.
Just pay attention to the screw torques, I think it mentions specifics about that in the manual as I recall.

It is as easy as can be.
Get a torque wrench in inch pounds for the tightening process.
Some Tighten the Front Screw more than the rear screw or is it the other way around?
Anyways, it is done as I had a Deluxe wood stock that was a Warranty and placed it on my SS 270 WSM that originally came in black plastic.
The EE is a great place to shop and I didnt even have to place a wtb add as there was one there when I had an impulse though and bought it.

As long as you are matching short action to short action and long to long, no issues. Howa's even fit and vice versa.
