Weatherby Vanguard base same as Rem 700.

I just wanted to confirm this, I've been reading that the Rem700 bases fit the Weatherby Vanguard. I looked at Brownells HD 1 piece bases et they says it fits, Howa 1500 Vanguard and Rem700. I assume all other bases for the 700 would fit.

A one-piece m700 short action base does not fit on my Vanguard in .22-250. Two piece bases fit. Are all Vanguards built on the same length action? I don't have a long action 700 to check that hole spacing.
