I would like to know what do you think about this rifle???

It is a good rifle for moose hunting? What about accuracy?

I find that with proper ammunition, all of the Weatherby's I have tried are sub MOA. I dont think I would pay extra for the sub MOA sticker.....

What calibre are you chosing.? That will determine whether it is good for large game or not.

Randy has it pegged right. The sub moa isn't worth the xtra dough. The plain jane 549.00 Vanguard shoots like a laser beam.

I agree with 2&3 and hear great things about the regular Van. Save the money. Any rifle that can shoot MOA (or even a bit worse) can kill a moose just as well as a sub MOA. Spend the diffence on a better scope, or ammo to practice at the range. As for calibre, my / my dads / my uncles 30.06's have gotten moose almost every year I can remember..they all frown on the bigger 30's. "If it's too far away to shoot with the .06, you're not working hard enough".- (Uncle George)

Don't you get the B&C stock with the sub-MOA? I thought that was why it went for more. I paid $599 last year for mine in .223.
