Weaver bases

Im looking for a one piece weaver base for a savage axis.
Does anyone know where i can find one?

why a rail? I have no issues with standard bases.

I bought a redfield scope and it needs to be shimmed as its bottomed out and still shooting 4" high at 100 yards.

your best bet might be to get a rail that has an angle adjustment to it rather then use shims

bobfortier has a 20moa rail on his axis
EGW 20 moa base and got it from mystic precision who is a site sponsor.

I was just going to make a post about one I saw at Cabelas online.

I was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit the Savage hunter series 111 FNS thats on sale at WSS right now? They should have the same base measurement, no?

Would you by any chance know the number of the Weaver bases that slide over a Brno rifle dovetail.
They made them at one time.

No, it is different. You need a 48338 weaver for a Savage sa accu trigger.
