Weaver Grand Slam

Anybody have any experience with the Weaver Grand Slam series of scopes? Opinions? Are the high power target ones any good?

What would a used one, silver, excellent shape, 6.5-20x40mm AO regular duplex be worth?

They have a better tracking system then Leupold! If you can live with the different styling (rubber with painted numbers on it) they are great. They also incorporated features which Leupold had to play catchup on... euro eyepiece focus, semi target turrets....

Interestingly, brand new Leupolds are being stripped of their adjustment turrets, reticle glued in place and used as fixed scopes. Great optics...not so reliable internals..

I've had two competition series that had point of impact shift. Maybe today they are better....we can only hope...

Just mounted one on my Vanguard 223,It is the clearest scope I have ever used.Its has the target crosshairs,they are super fine with a 1/8 dot.

Who sells the target (T-series) weaver scopes?

my buddy had a 3-10 Grand Slam. Its a good scope but awfully ugly looking on top of your rifle. Optically Id rate them as good as an Elite 4200/VXII/Fullfield II
