I have not heard of K9 scopes in single powers (there is a K9, variable 3-9 power) but I own a K10 and a K12 single powers. The older steel bodied scopes from Weaver are strong and have good optics. Yours appears to have an adjustable objective which is a good feature in a higher fixed power. If you have need for a fixed power in this power range, your scope is a keeper. Same answer if it is a 3-9 variable.
