Weaver repairs??

I was just given a Weaver V7-IIW 2.5-7X and it looks a little cloudy inside. Is there anywhere in Canada that repairs weaver scopes, and if so, is it worth the cost of getting it repaired? Externally the scope is in great condition with no dings and just normal wear. If the repair is going to be 60%+ of new I won't bother. Don't have alot of $$$ to play with, but could use another scope! Thanks!

Harvey Trace in alberta does. Certainly old weavers anyways. He has adds in Access to Firearms newspaper.

Trace is great, but he is busy, so don't get discouraged if he doesn't respond. Just keep calling. His work is superb in restoring the old Weaver's! A+ in my books.

Trace has moved the scope repair business to Calgary, and is doing only stock duplicating at the old New Norway AB address.

Scope repair number is 403 295 1534. It's still a family business according to their ad in Access.

Have you tried Simmons/Weaver in the USA re;a warranty claim ?
Look it up on the net and give them a call.
