Don't have a 3-9, but I do have a fixed 4 rimfire classic. I love that little scope. I bought a 2-7 Leupold rimfire first for a sako p72, very nice scope. Then when I built my 10/22 I needed another and went with the weaver for about a 1/2 of the price. Never a problem with either, but i actually prefer the weaver. The reticle is just a smidge heavier, and I think as a general purpose 22 scope 4x is the sweet spot for me.

Anyway no info on the 3-9, but I've been very impressed with the optics, and durability of the 4x. And I've no doubt the 10/22 has been much harder on the scope, as well as myself. Holds zero perfectly.

I was an idiot and sold the one I bought with my CZ452 and moved to a great big bushnell elite 6-24x for 200m shooting. I'm no longer shooting rimfire at that range. Thought about selling that Bushnell but it is a damn fine scope tool.

Those Weaver Classic 3-9xs are just about the best rimfire scopes around. Wish I'd seen that deal on EE.

I was going to buy one of those at my local dealer years ago when they were new and still available. I hesitated (might have had something to do with competition for funds) and when I came back they were discontinued and even the store demonstrator model had been sold.

I heard they were very good scopes, let us know if they live up to their billing.

I haven't tried the rimfire scopes but they look as if made by the same factory that makes the Classic K and Classic V models that I have used (K4, K6, V3, V9.) I think you will be pleased with them.

Just wondering how this scope ended up working out for you. I just made an impulse buy of one of these 3-9x32 weavers and am debating if i should return it. I don't even have 22 without a scope to try it on. I just thought the price was good enough to give it a try.

I was looking through it again this morning and comparing it to the scopes on my 22s. Looks good and pretty happy for $149. Now I gotta buy another 22. Very unfortunate. Lol

Awesome had the 3x9 rf with ao. Sold it thinking i would buy another well that did not happen as i could not find one.. awesome if you can get one preferred it over my 3x9 rf Leupold
