  • Apparently they are not manufactured anymore.
  • I never owned one, but I was told they are good for the money.

Sad to hear - they've been in business for a long time. I have a 2.5X10 Grand Slam on my ADL and like it quite a lot.

Seems like they are not out of business.. According to your link.

I just looked online and the Weaver website is still up, so are they really out of business?
Weaver Optics is not out of business as they are continuing to manufacture and sell the Weaver brand of scope bases and rings. However, Weaver is no longer producing or selling the Weaver brand of rifle scopes.

Also if you send one in for warranty you will get back what they consider an equivalent Bushnell . Totally useless for their t series scopes.

I like their old K series scopes, I had a few of them. The new stuff I never cared for much.

The Classic K and Classic V models made in Japan are very good value at typical second hand prices.

I've bought a couple new from Ellwood Epps and obviously, I thought the price of those was reasonable, too. I can't remember any other retailer that sold them.

Over the years I have had exceptional reliability and dependability from the many Weaver scopes I have owned, not one ever had an issue or failed to function properly. I always felt ( still do) that they were a real good value for the $$$, sorry to see them go.

Trace scope repair in Calgary does a good job of refurbing them, if you have one that needs work. I've probably owned a couple dozen of them over the years, good scopes in general. - dan

Agree, but when I sent 2 in March of the year, it took almost a year for the return. I asked him if him if they would be ready for hunting season, he said yes. The repairs were great though.
