Weaver shotgun mounts

Has anyone used the detachable type scope mount from Weaver on thier deer gun?
Do they hold a zero? Are they secure? And do they leave any marks/damage on the receiver ?

Yes and I've found them to hold zero. No marks.

How much did you pay for yours, "RePete"?

I supplied them for a shotgun I built for a client 2 years ago and they were $43 + taxes at that time. Prices have changed and are now about $50 + taxes.
