It seems the Hong Kong Weaver to 11 mm rail adapters are very high, on average 20mm - 17mm.

They are dirt cheap though.

I was thinking of making some new clamps for my cheapo BSA Contender red dot sight to fit it onto my .22.

I think all I need are 2 longer machine screws to go through the existing holes on the bottom rail, and of course 2 - 4 new additional clamp pieces.

I think it will work out fine.

Just have to knit me some spare time with nine inch nails and some coarse steel wool and get to it.

are you trying to take a 11mm dovetail and put on a adapter to use weaver style mounts. if so their are low profiles avalibal on ebay for 15$ @ .2 rise and for 25$ .5 rise. i have a set of each they work great
