Does anyone have information on or experience with this variable (1.5-4.5) scope, in terms of age, quality, etc? One came mounted on my new Parker-Hale Supreme No. 4. It looks and feels good, but I haven't had a chance yet to fire the rifle. All info welcome!

This variable is an original El Paso Weaver scope that was marketed in the 50's & 60's. Has been out of production for a long time. That being said, it was a good piece of optics for it's day, and was very tough. Good eye relief as well. Had one on a fully sporterized P17 and never had a bit of trouble with it. Quite a few deer and an elk had some issues with it though!! ;) :D Regards, Eagleye.
