Hey guys~over the years, I've seen the odd Weaver (mostly WTB ads) in the EE here. T24s most I guess, but a quick Google search suggests there is (or was) T10, T16, T24 and T36. I'm considering a new scope for a .22 and since I mostly target shoot with my rimfires casually, I'm thinking about tracking-down either a T10 or a T16. Being a .22, and with no plans of target shooting past about 75 yards, I think a T10 would be enough magnification.

Anyhow, curious to hear people's opinions on these scopes, as I've never used one...or even looked through one. After some searching, I tracked down a Weaver V-16 target dot reticle for my 17M2 bolt gun, and while I think it's a decent scope for what i paid for it, the reticle is almost too fine for me. I'd be curious about how the T series compares, what reticles they came equipped with, etc.

Were there more Weavers around, I could check myself. Hoping the community here can chime in.

thanks!

Are you referring to the vintage steel tubed Weaver Ts?
These are dandy scopes. Their adjustments work very well. May not have super multi-coated lenses, but the optics are excellent.
I have a 10, two 16s, and a 25.

Those are the ones. It's a T10 I'm thinking about getting.
