Can anyone tell me what is the warranty for weaver scopes and what do you do if you need to get one fixed in Canada ? Does anyone have any first hand experience ?

Couple years back I buggered my Weaver KT15X varmint scope. Did it myself - tightening the rings like I was installing a spare tire - caved the scope tube - if you can imagine.
Anyway, sent it back to Weaver in the US, as per their instruction. I admitted what I had done, to my embarrassment, and they returned me a new scope, no charge!

Weaver and Simmons optics were purchased a couple of years back from ATK by Mead Telescope of California. I heard they have set up a warranty site for Canada in Calgary but I don't have the addressor phone handy. If no one else has this info handy I will check on Monday and post here. Phil

Weaver,Simmons and Redfield Warranty

IT is true that these companys have been purchased by the mead company.
I have had to send a couple of scopes in Redfields and a Weaver and they are the best as for dealing with any warranty issues, never any problems. They always send them back to Roggie's Rod and Reel in Calgary then they forward them on to us.I have called Roggie's and aparrantly they are trying to become their dealer or something to that effect you can call yourself and talk to them as its been awhile since I have talked to them myself ,their number is (403)281-1434.As for the Weaver address in the states is:
Simmons Outdoor Corporation
