my neighbour the sea captain, cool old dude survived cape buffalo attack in 30s and Spanish civil war had 2 of these in lone butte BC when I was a kid super cool semi auto revolver , we used to shoot off the back deck of his cabin , where would one find one of these unique pistols today ?
 
There is a company in Pakistan who is working on recreating these. Noidea how thats progressing though

Crikey! He had two? One has to wonder what happened to THOSE!
 
he had one in .455 and one in .22 long rifle , many many double rifles for elephants and cape buffalo ,drillings etc ,his end tables were elephant feet , I will dig up his name later today
 
he retired from BC Ferries ,born in Africa, got caught up in Spanish civil war ,he was with the merchant marine, was imprisoned in spain ,escaped prison with other crew members they ran right he ran left the others were all re captured and shot he was the lone survivor , fascinating man ,a book should have been written about him he was gored by a cape buffalo in the 30s , his local trackers took several days to reach a first aid station in a dug out canoe ,they immersed him in a bath tub of potassium permanganate which saved his life ,no antibiotics in the 30s
