Webley goodies! :)

hammer back on a live round... hmm gotta be usa

nice old gear though ... I am gonna get me a nice old 12.6 Brit pistol one day :)

Parker -Hale had a liner and cyl that works just like the .455, only with 6 shots,, looks strange but works flawlessly! I bought one a couple of years ago sight unseen,, great old stuff.

When they appear at auctions or online (maybe once every couple years) they go fast and for a little less than a mk VI Webley. Most appear to have been made in 1919 though they were available from Webley at least into the 60's.

and when the Brits banned handguns the dealers binned the loaders since there was no longer a market for them.
A friend in the U.K sent me the single shot .22 barrel for a Mk6 and I have .22 cylinder and barrel conversion kits for my Mk5 and Mk6.
Numrich was selling those kits some time ago for the Mk5 made in India. Couldn't get that one to work until I figured out that they didn't drill the hole for the axis pin deep enough. Fortunately a little work with the drill press fixed that.
I did alter a modern plastic quick loader for .45LC by slightly reaming out the holes. The .455 rim is just a tad larger then .45LC. I imagine some sandpaper wrapped around a stick could work as well.
