I have been gifted a Webley Mk1 revolver in .455. Not from a relative.
The 'little' problem is that the current registration shows it as a prohib.
Doesn't make sense as Mk1 revolvers (not semi autos) date from 1887 which makes them antique. I also uderstand that although centre fire, they are one of the listed calibres that are also 'antique'.
Prior to approaching the CFC for a reclassification, can anyone provide some insight and/or advice?
