Webley mkII and Accuracy

If you read "The Modern Sportsman's Gun and Rifle, Volume II" by John Henry Walsh, it shows actual groups shot from the old revolvers during their heyday. They were pretty sad!

Some were actually pretty good. I just picked up a copy of The Webley Story by William Chipchase Dowell, a couple of the plates show actual copies of targets shot at 20 yards over 115 years ago with a Webley WG - one ragged hole(six shot sub 2 inch groups). This is pretty consistent with my experience.
