I need some assembly instructions for the Webley No 5 455 New Model RIC.

I can't seem to find anything on line that isn't going to cost a hundred dollars.

I would appreciate any help I can get, especially a pdf file with what I need, including expanded diagrams.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm..... I only have Ian Skennerton's Small Arms Indentification Series Nº9, on the Nº1 Mk.VI, which has reproductions of the original drawings, although not always terribly clear.

There is a good pic of a totally disassembled Nº5 (although maybe not an RIC?) here (scroll about 3/4 of the way down.)

There is also a fellow in Medicine Hat, Grant Rombough, (aka "Rattlesnake Jack", see website link below) who occas. posts here on CGN, but more frequently on the British Militaria Forum, who would probably be able to help. His website (members.memlane.com/gromboug/index.html) deals with one of his other main interests, Canadian "wild west" history, but I think he is very knowledgeable on Webleys & Martinis as well. His e-mail is on his website.

:) Stuart
