I inherited a Webley Vulcan .22 and brought it to Canada from England about 30 years ago..Id put its age at 40??
It has original stock in average condition (Im a wood guy can refinish easily). sights removed but I still have them, two of the screws are stripped, and the original finish is not so great.
The gun has only about 40% of its original power left. But other than that its perfect!
I am really unaware of its value or if they are sought after..I am not terribly interested in owning airguns ..but can I ask this. The cosmetic repair, tapping and sights I can handle, but what are the steps and replacement parts that would restore its original power?
Is there somewhere in the Hamilton area, or even somewhere to ship that would perform this work and what would I expect to pay?
I have a feeling the answer is retire it and find yourself a new one..has some sentimental value but I am fonder of my wallet.
