A buddy has a chance to pick up one of these in very nice condition. Any input on fair value in the Canadian market would be most appreciated. No pics available as its in Alberta still. Kayceel

Thank you Candocad! The Vulcan model name came from my buddy and reviewing some online pics with him he said it looked like the Mk 111 pics. Its his dad's and dad is headed into an assisted living facility so all the firearms and reloading equipment will be going to family or sold off in some cases. I suspect that the "Vulcan" is hardly even properly broken in. Kayceel

It's a nice break action pellet gun with a beech stock. (Unless it's a delux, then it will have a walnut stock and chequering.)

Fairly low on power but will dispatch a rabbit at 40 m if you do your part. 11/12 ft/Ib.

Hi

I've had a number of Vulcans and their variants like the Excel. I'd say $300 would be max if it's a true British made Vulcan and it's in excellent shape with a Beech stock. That's about what you would pay for them new when you could still get them. Realistically I'd expect to pay somewhere around $200. FYI the third variant had a cast trigger which was more curved than previous versions and there were serrations on the trigger. It should also have a safety and a metal rear sight. They are really nice guns for the weight and size. Nothing fancy, kind of like sliced white bread, nothing fancy but it works. Like others have said, they shoot at just under 12ft/lbs. In my mind they don't seem to have a real following for collectors.
