My apology for posting here. I tried on “Pistols and Revolvers” forum but no luck. I am aware that this is a military site, but seems to me that some of the members here are quite familiar with British firearms, so I hope to get some feedback.
I am in search of a nice commercial Webley in one of 450 or 455 calibres, and stumbled upon two Webley WG model (Webley Government, some folks call it Webley Green, incorrect as far as I found on internet), both with 6” barrels like this one; http://www.gunboards.com/forums/topi...erms=Webley,WG .
Here are descriptions:
Webley WG No. 1; Didn’t have a chance to handle it, just the picture, but the owner described that it has a hairline crack on the cylinder on one of the chambers, and barrel stirrup/latch spring was replaced. The rest is in very nice condition, about 95%, with excellent barrel bore.
Webley WG No. 2; Very nice condition, tight, solid lockup, 90%, unfortunately, bored to 45 LC.
What would be the honest price for each of listed revolvers?
