I'm a collector but not of this and are not mine. A friend wants a value and may want to sell. A Mark4, 38 cal webley and scott, s/n 63### with a letter B, 4 inch. the other is a Mark V1 in 455, s/n 19###X, 6 inch. These guns have been in his safe for 35 years, unfired, and he believed he bought them the same way. On inspection I noted no "safe kisses" no cracks,chips wear or conversion marks of any kind. "...4 inch..." He have the 12(6) permit? If not he's in possession of a prohibited firearm. Four inch barrels are evil. It can't be registered unless it was registered as such prior to 1 Dec., 1998, either. However, a legal .38 S&W, Mk 4 is worth $225 to $250.
