Website for Beretta M9A1

I bought one similar to that a few months ago. Works pretty well.

SO? Best place to get a Beretta M9A1? And a PARA CTX1345S? PM me if you please. I would be eternally grateful. The price range is so damn broad.... one dealer at $10 and the next dealer at $40.... gets me feeling insecure. I just want a fair price and good service.... like the rest of us.

most gun stores should be able to get the M9A1 as a special order...

I'd say try the shooting edge and the wolverine supplies they seem to have the best prices on Berettas.

EDIT: IIRC m9a1 is $940 at wolverine (could be wrong though)...

Don't know if I am repeating a thread here but nonetheless....

Thank you for that information and it looks like the 92FS is in stock there and the M9A1 is special order.

HERE'S THE QUESTION: Does one want to order the M9A1 and wait delivery or does one want to take the 92FS INOX and take immediate delivery. I have no idea of the pricing.... as long as the pricing is fair I am good to go and I am more interested in whether or not the difference between the two warrants going for the M9A1 version.... which Beretta states as being "blued" or the 92FS INOX, which Beretta doesn't really describe, but which I gather is "sorta" Stainless Steel.

I note that one advantage of the M9A1 is that it has rails for mounting accessories.... not that I am necessarily going to be doing that.

I am more interested in the finish and performance. I also note that there is a G model (i.e. 92G).

Suggestions?

Inox has a stainless slide and alloy matching frame.

G model is a deckoker only (no safety) FS is a safety/ decocker model

I have the 92FS Inox and love it :) has been 100% in 1000's of rounds fired... So is the Inox availabe now? they were discontined for a little while... did you get a price quote?

They were confused. There has not been a Beretta delivery at some dealers in a year or more apparently. (word of mouth - don't shoot the messenger I am only passing along what I was told).

I did manage to find the M9A in stock and have bought it. Can't wait to get my hands on it... dyin' to see the finish on it which is supposed to be something else. I am personally a fan of stainless steel but I gather that this finish is more desirable?

Anyway.... looks like Beretta is concentrating on their government contracts and the consumer suffers for it, which is not an unusual occurance in industry - I have seen it before and it is not necessarily a bad thing. In the communications business it provided a whole new generation of improvements in radio communications (i.e. cellular technology, GPS technology, etc.) several times. The only issue was that the consumer had to take a back seat while the developments were being made and the government/military contracts fulfilled. Rockwell Collins regretably did not survive the competition in communications, but made some major advancements in communications technology in their time (passband tuning, crystal passband filtering, mechanical passband filtering, etc.).

I am looking forward to getting my Beretta M9. Anyone interested in one please PM me for details. I may have a spare. The only other one in the country it would appear.
