I think I might have mis-measured those spurs. They might have been eight inches.....and I think the beard was twenty.........:rolleyes:

MY prize is in the freezer waiting for a suitable occasion. I am going to brine him in apple juice and seasonings, put him in the smoker for one pan of cherry smoke, then roast him with bacon slices across the breasts and a bit of the apple juice marinade in the pan. Yeehawwww!!!! :D

The best trophy that is Doug along the memories of the mornings listening to the birds start up and all the other stuff we run into including the skunk!
I did mine in tangerine and smoked hickory. Next one I'll smoke with cherry.
