What would you consider a "comfortable" weight for a hunting rifle in the bush?
My Husqvarna 640 in 8mm weighs a bit over 9 lbs fully loaded with steel Buehler mounts and steel tube 60s Kahles scope. Too heavy for treks into the bush, or is it reasonable in your experience?
(It took an hour of arguing with proof with my uncle that my Husqvarna 640 with a birch schnabel stock (7 lbs dry no scope) was lighter than his post-64 Winchester M70 which he claimed to be the lightest gun on the market)
