I heard from a friend, that you can fill the hole on the back of the glocks with weights and plug the grip up to ad a bit of weight to help manage recoil.

Anyone knows of a company that makes the weights and grip plugs? If I can get the glock frame the same weight as a metal firearm frame like a sig, I would be stoked.

Try a smaller calibre, professional training or both. There is no issue with recoil with a glock. Recoil management has everything to do with the shooter and almost zero to do with the firearm.

I've shot Glocks in every caliber except .380 and 10mm......there aint no RECOIL problems with them.

Shoot it a lot and you'll adapt.

There are plenty of other guns that offer heavier frames. It's probably easier to sell your Glock and buy one of them than it would be to replicate their weight. But honestly, as others have said, it's not the weight of the gun that is the issue.

I have shot every Glock caliber in their smallest form, including compact .45, 10mm, .357 SIG and .380 straight blowback. No recoil issue. There are pistols and revolvers with miserable recoil. Glock doesn't make them.

You can improve on recoil handling with aftermarket spring kits. The Gen 4 pistols have improved recoil management. But there is no problem with Glock recoil. If the pistol doesn't fit your hand, it could exaggerate felt recoil, so you should stick with what fits you best.

To answer your question, go to glockstore and check their selection. For what it's worth you wont achieve much. The space is so small that at best you're going to add an ounce or 2 and adding it to the heal of the gun wont help much. Normally you'd want the weight up by the muzzle.

I have a g34 with tungsten guide rod and brass weight in handle for the mag funnel. It does not really help with recoil sensation. It helps with keeping gun a bit flatter for quicker splits. I am shooting minor pf so really recoil isn't my problem. Even with all the heavy and very expensive pieces my Shadow is a better game gun with the steel frame for about $800 less in parts I have into the G34.

I agree but man, the Glock 20 is the most fun of the bunch!

Handgun shooting is 99% software, 1% hardware.
