Weihrauch air guns ?? Anyone have experience compared to Diana

I have two Weihrauch HW30s, one in .177, and one in .22. They are absolutely excellent airguns. Beautifully made, remarkably accurate, grooved receiver is built in, smooth operation, easy to ####, fairly lightweight, and the recoil is minimal, so they'd don't chew up scopes. They're the ultimate plinking airgun.

I tried a couple of cheaper .177 guns - a Crossman Phantom and a Gamo, and both were returned. Poorly built and terrible accuracy.

Compared to my father's Diana 24, I'd take the Weihrauch all day, every day, and twice on Sunday. IMHO, the Weihrauch is a nicer gun, more accurate, and they have proven to be more reliable.

FYI - I'm on the waiting list for a few Weihrauch items from D&L Airgun, and they contacted me on Monday to let me know they have a Weihrauch shipment expected to land in the next 2 weeks.

Weihrauch is premium.
I have a HW95,
it's not just the accuracy, it's the whole package.
Very nice wood, excellent fit and finish. Excellent trigger. Feels like a real gun, as opposed to the plastic garbage that so common with air rifles.

Sure it costs a bit more, but you are buying something that will last forever.

I think Nordic Marksman has fair prices. The webstore associated with airgun canada is where I got mine. Wanted an adult-sized accurate air rifle with a great trigger for off-hand practise and no regrets.

I've got a 77 that's nice to shoot as well, it's kind of funny that the new Gunnutz forum censors the word c o c k.... :)

Ive got an hw80.. quality is abit better than diana ! The price will reflect that $$
Both diana and hw are excellent springers.
Accuracy is awesome on both.
Imo i wouldnt bother with anything else

I have had the original high power air rifle Diana 45. Quality-wise, it's better than the new ones because mine had all metal parts. New Dianas have plastic sights and I don't know what else.

I also have two Weirauch HW 97s. One in .177 nickel plated synthetic thumbhole stock and the other in .22 nickel and blue laminate stock. They're are more accurate than me. Diana 45 is more powerful than HW97.
