I have two Weihrauch HW30s, one in .177, and one in .22. They are absolutely excellent airguns. Beautifully made, remarkably accurate, grooved receiver is built in, smooth operation, easy to ####, fairly lightweight, and the recoil is minimal, so they'd don't chew up scopes. They're the ultimate plinking airgun.
I tried a couple of cheaper .177 guns - a Crossman Phantom and a Gamo, and both were returned. Poorly built and terrible accuracy.
Compared to my father's Diana 24, I'd take the Weihrauch all day, every day, and twice on Sunday. IMHO, the Weihrauch is a nicer gun, more accurate, and they have proven to be more reliable.
FYI - I'm on the waiting list for a few Weihrauch items from D&L Airgun, and they contacted me on Monday to let me know they have a Weihrauch shipment expected to land in the next 2 weeks.
